| Katrina Foundation for Relief donates to Children's Home
Go Back |
Rick Hohlt, publisher of The Ruston Daily Leader and vice president of The Katrina Foundation for Relief, presents a check for $1,500 to Terrel DeVille, president and CEO of the Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home in Ruston. The Foundation made the award to help the continuing effort of caring for evacuees from the Methodist Home for Children in New Orleans. The foundation continues to raise money through the sell of Katrina wrist bands. The ongoing efforts are designed to raise money to help Katrina victims throughout the Gulf Coast, not just those in Louisiana. The bands are available in Ruston at the Lincoln Parish Library, Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Community Trust Bank and The Ruston Daily Leader. |
