These photos were recently taken in Mississippi and Louisiana, nearly two years after the devastation of Katrina. If for some reason you have been led to believe that the Relief and Rebuilding effort is nearly over, you are mistaken.... Even the Mayor of Waveland, Mississippi is still living in a FEMA trailer after his home was destroyed.... can any of us really begin to comprehend what it would be like to have our lives so fractured for such a long period of time? These few pictures represent a very small portion of what is needed, for the people of the Gulf Coast; the list goes on and on.
