SAINTS COME MARCHING IN / GOOD NEWS CAMP LAUNCH THE "ACTS OF KINDNESS / SERVANT EVANGELISM CAMPAIGN" WITH OVER 1000 VOLUNTEERS THIS WEEK

This week we launch our spring "Act of Kindness / Servant Evangelism Campaign. The camp is busy gearing up with more large tents and more euipment to receive our largest group of volunteers so far. We now have over 36,000 square feet of tents at the Good News Camp. Along with teams from several other sending ministries, we will be hosting thousands of student teams from college and University campuses across the US this Spring Break. One of our major ministry partners during this entire campaign has been Campus Crusade fro Christ. The great thing about CCC is they are committed to bringing a labor force of thousands of student volunteers to ministries such as our who can then assign them tasks which can make a BIG and SUDDEN difference.

CCC has helped us from the beginning to build this camp and then help us staff the camp to serve the New Olreans community with the many services we provide. I'm certain that Dr Bill Bright, the founder of CCC, and the writer of the famous "4 Spiritual Laws" would be awed to see the great response his organization is making to provide a tangible statement as to the love of Christ in this crisis.

We will be sending these teams to gut out churches and pastors houses and church members homes and homes of the community at large in the neighborhoods our coalition churches. Meanwhile others will assist in the running of our camp, while still others will assist us in delivery of meals and supplies throughout New Orleans. We are also asking the team members to do "random acts of kindness" each day. And to then hand out our cards which tell the person that this is all being done in Jesus name. The card also directs them to the camp where they can receive more help and A WITNESS OF CHRIST through our various camp ministries.

The Spring campaign will be followed by our Summer Campaign which will also be when we attempt the largest Christian festival in US history. Stay tuned.... And come be a part.
