RESTORING HOPE.
REBUILDING LIVES.
RELIEF TO COMMUNITIES.
ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Katrina Foundation for Recovery has been founded in the aftermath of the devastation of Hurricane Katrina by a group of ordinary people from North Louisiana with an extraordinary vision of uniting the people of the U.S. Our desire is for everyone to "Band Together" with monetary donations for relief while having a tangible show of support for the people of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama by wearing the "Blue Band". A dream of providing relief has become a reality with the support of many selfless individuals and businesses. We, the board, are humbled by the response and awed by God's provision for every detail of The Katrina Foundation for Recovery.

The Katrina Foundation for Recovery is a nationwide humanitarian organization developed in the unprecedented aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

The objectives are: Restoring Hope, Rebuilding Lives, Providing Relief to communities and individuals affected by Katrina

Through the donations of caring citizens, we are committed to provide support by supplying the monetary means to purchase clothing, shelter, medical supplies, food, educational tools and transportation. We are also dedicated to ensuring ongoing support for the reconstruction and restoration of communities and relocations of the people of the New Orleans and Gulf Coast region.
